Planning Your Idyllic Wedding at Deer's Leap
Deer’s Leap is somewhere people have been coming with family & friends for special celebrations for over 30 years but we have only recently been licenced for weddings & civil ceremonies. We have a number of rooms in the main farmhouse that are licenced for the ceremony or a beautiful gazebo by the lake & a stone barn, which of these you opt for depends on your intended wedding party size & the time of year you’re looking to get married.
Our wedding packages range from £5250.00p for a wedding in Jan to £7300.00p for a Christmas or New year wedding. A wedding package includes hire of the Farm house for 2 nights on a self-catering basis, accommodating 18, ceremony & reception venue. Tables & chairs for both your ceremony & reception for up to 60 guests. Parking for you & all your guests.
Of course with such a big decision you’ll want to come & see if Deer’s Leap is the right place for you, you are welcome to arrange a visit to talk through all the possibilities here & have a good look around.

As everyday life gets busier, it is becoming increasingly popular for couples to want their big day to be more of a relaxed couple of days, offering a real chance for close family and friends to be involved in the planning and preparations, and spending some quality time with the people who mean the most to them. The days of the happy couple only achieving a quick 'hello & goodbye' to their guests are fast dwindling and a more personal type of wedding tradition is happily emerging. This is at the heart of everything we do here at Deer's Leap Retreat.
