The Farm House
There has been a farm here for hundreds of years, the farm is recorded in the Doomsday book, and the main section of the current Farmhouse was built in 1834. The Farm House itself can accomdate up to 18 people perfect for those looking for large self catering accomodation in Devon to hold a family get together!
The house has 9 bedrooms, 3 large reception rooms and a farmhouse kitchen, with plenty of space. Beautiful traditional features have been brought up to date with modern facilities to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible.

The Main Lounge
The Main Lounge has 3 huge, exteremly comfy sofas arranged around an inglenook fireplace, which contains a large wood burning stove. The lounge has a 50" HD flat screen TV, full sky package & a DVD player.
The Snug
The Snug also has a large inglenook fireplace containing a wood burning stove. It has a big comfy sofa, 2 winged back arm chairs and 1 sqidgey arm chair. This room is perfect for those in your party who might like a bit of quiet time. A stereo is provided in the snug with an adaptor for ipods and MP3 players.
Logs and kindling for the stoves are provided... Please just ask if you run out!
The Dining Room
The dining room has 2 large oak tables that separately seat 20 or together in a T shape seat 18. Table cloths and mats are provided as well as candle sticks. There are 2 sets of china, one willow pattern and one plain white and all manner of glasses for dinner parties.
The dining room also has a piano and a comfy sofa which looks out over the back garden.
The Kitchen
The large Farmhouse Kitchen is light and airy with a warm welcoming feel. It has an oil fueled Aga which is on from mid Sept - end March. There is also a double electric fan oven with grill and 4 ring hob.
The kitchen is exteremely well equipped and has everything from apple corer to food processor. You will also find cake tins, baking trays, a food mixer and a juicer.
The kitchen has a table which seats 6 and 2 high chairs are provided for little ones.
Bedrooms
All the bedrooms at Deer's Leap have been dressed individually. Each single bed has 2 pillows, each double bed has 4. There are a mixture of feather pillows and hypo allergenic pillows throughout the house. Each bed has a feather and down quilt except daisy. All our linen is cotton.
Each guest is provided with 1 large, thick fluffy bath towel and 1 hand towel. The bed arrangements are interchangable to accomodate each individual party's needs. Please ask about this for more details.
